Quiz is a perl script, that processes and scores the users input to an HTML quiz page, allowing up to 25 questions. It gives you the option of having the user's results emailed to you (if you so desire), along with their name and email address (if provided).

This makes Quiz useful for such things as on-line CEU's etc.

Each HTML page can be created manually, without changing anything in the script, via a large number of hidden form tags. Although this setup works very well, and allows you extreme control over the look and content of your quiz HTML page(s), it is time-consuming to set them up this way.

WHY DID WE WRITE QUIZMASTER??

Quizmaster is a perl script, that creates any number of quiz HTML pages for you, simply by filling out a few HTML forms. The quiz HTML pages are then written to the server, where they can be accessed by anyone via the WWW.

This allows you to rapidly setup a whole series of QUIZ pages, and add more at any time as needed. This also lends itself well to web-authors who are creating on-line educational programs.

Quizmaster is password protected, and you may set the password to anything you like.

Quiz and Quizmaster were written on a LINUX machine, for a LINUX machine. This means that they will work on LINUX servers, will PROBABLY work on BSD servers, MAY need some modification to work on other UNIX systems, and would need MAJOR modifications to work on MS-based servers (if you have an NT server, rather than modifying QUIZ, why not just switch to a LINUX/UNIX server...you'll be much happier anyway).

Quiz and Quizmaster come as one package, free of any charge, and may be used any modified for any good purpose, so long as you agree to hold the authors harmless, in the even of any disaster, either real or imagined, resulting from the use of this software.
